Chef Tina aka Sergeant Nalampoon and his team have done it again today! The Fulton County Jail earned perfect and near perfect scores on recent inspections of the kitchen and officers dining room. Health inspectors from the Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness conducted an unannounced inspection of the facilities. The inspectors examine areas of the Jail as they would restaurants across the state and score the facility on set criteria as outlined on the report.
The jail kitchen received a perfect score and the officers dining hall scored 99 out of a possible 100. Chef Tina said they missed the food service's permit update which resulted in a one point deduction. The kitchen was scored 100 in March and 98 in 2016. The officers dining room previously earned perfect 100’s in March of this year and September of last year.
