This is what love looks like, a trailer full of items that are desperately needed (actually 2 pickup beds AND a trailer full!). Late on Tuesday afternoon we put out one simple email to our parents and faculty to let everyone know we would be gathering and sending items to Puerto Rico. Randomly over the course of the next couple days, moms, dads, kids, neighbors, and staff brought in bags of food (people and dog), diapers, tents, sleeping bags, deodorant, water, underwear, etc. Some came with a grocery bag full, some came with trash bags full, some came with trunks full. The outpouring was very heartfelt and heartwarming. We can't begin to know what these people are feeling, but everyone wants to help in a way that they can. It is overwhelmingly obvious that was a way in which we could help. Thank you so much to our entire community!
