CLINTON, S.C. – Presbyterian College sophomore tennis player Tracy Johnson was selected to the All-Big South first team for singles play, as the league announced its annual awards on Tuesday afternoon. Johnson also claimed a spot on the All-Academic Team.
Johnson is the first player in program history to be named All-Big South. The sophomore led the Blue Hose this season with a 14-7 overall record in singles, while also going 13-8 overall in doubles action. She started the season 8-1 at No. 2 singles, before moving up to the No. 1 spot for the remainder of the season, where she finished the regular season 6-6.
Johnson, paired with Nicole Croxton for much of the season, went 10-7 at the top doubles spot. The native of Johns Creek, Ga. won three Big South matches in both singles and doubles, tying for the team lead in doubles. In two seasons at …
