ROSWELL, GA — Atlanta portable storage container startup supports local non-profits to raise awareness and pay it forward.
“The beauty of a local and family owned company is that we can support local organizations and be a part of the community in a meaningful way that other larger and more bureaucratic businesses cannot,” said Emily Brown, one of STORsquare’s founders.
You can find a STORsquare “SQUARE” at Foster Care Support Foundation (FCSF) in Roswell during their furniture drive on May 5-6. Donate your gently-used furniture to support local foster children and the families who support them.
“We love STORsquare’s containers,” said FCSF Executive Director Rachel Ewald. “They are absolutely perfect for storing furniture and other supplies, so everything stays safe and dry. This is a huge need for our upcoming furniture drive.”
STORsquare also recently sponsored Spring Fever, an inaugural fundraising event hosted by CURE Childhood Cancer’s Young Professional Leadership Council. Founded in 1975, CURE Childhood Cancer is a non-profit organization dedicated to conquering childhood cancer by advancing research to improve outcomes for those affected and providing support to patients and their families.
“CURE is a great organization that is helping families in Atlanta and throughout Georgia struggling with their child's cancer diagnosis. It is a cause near to my heart because I am a childhood cancer survivor myself,” said Brown.
STORsquare believes that “paying it forward” is a wonderful way for people to learn about their new portable storage container company.
