Alex Taylor and Santiago Tovar launched their Kickstarter campaign for their feature film "The Vigilantes" on Friday, November 3, 2017 and raised over $900 in the first 24 hours.
These two young men are inspiring teens and young adults to go for it and follow their passions. They are 14 and 15 years old and have already filmed several short films and started a production company. Their latest film, "The Vigilantes" will be written, produced and directed by teens and all of the cast and crew will be teens/young adults.
They are freshmen at Cambridge High School and have already won the recognition of being the first freshmen invited into "The Bridge" - the schools film and broadcast program.
Alex Taylor is the Founder/CEO of A2Z Productions ATL and writer/director of "The Vigilantes". Santiago Tovar is the Director of Photography/editor of "The Vigilantes". The two have been working together for over a year and "The Vigilantes" will be the second film they have collaborated on together.
The pair are looking to raise a total of $7,000 from the Kickstarter Campaign (which ends on December 2, 2017). These funds will be used to purchase additional equipment and props for the movie, pay for location fees and help to pay the cast and crew. They are also offering some great incentives for their backers.
